After three days' growth, this Columbus plant went from just approaching our 8-foot nursery top wire to towering above it. The landscape of our hop nursery changes day to day. So amazing to observe.

An exciting recent development in our nursery which means we will have some cones this year!

July 1st Scouting
A lot of our baby hop plants came with broken tips. They are recooping fast, sending out side arms with new tips that will soon be climbing up the coir.
Our two Fuggles have grown way beyond the nursery's 8-foot top wire. They started off in April as hearty rhizomes and have just thrived.
This Chinook leaf is about as big as my hand. Not bad for its first year!
These eggs are more than welcome in our hop nursery because ladybugs help control the aphid population.
